After achieving ETA Option 1 (ETA – 14/0374) in 2014, Joker points out it is continually extending its certification to cover more head types. Currently, Joker is hoping its high-quality bi-metal concrete screws will achieve an ETA before the end of 2022.

In terms of structural design, the carbon steel portion – combined with the fore-end cutting edges and exclusive patented 3-circle hi-low thread design – allows the bi-metal concrete screw to cut faster, while the shank made from 316 stainless steel also provides excellent outdoor rustproof performance. In a practical test with other similar products, Joker reports the bi-metal concrete screw has been proved to achieve almost double pull-out strength and safety coefficiency with less amount used and better work efficiency.  Concrete Lead Anchors

“We’ve invested a lot in certification for this product, including shear, tensile strength, breakage limit and many other safety coefficient related tests, with an aim of developing a reliable product that is international standards compliant and safe for users. This product is a newer application in the anchor sector and can be used to replace conventional expansion anchors,” explains Ryan Huang, product manager at Joker Industrial Co Ltd.

Most recently in 2021, Taiwanese-based Joker gained EU approval for seismic tests C1/C2 to satisfy the demands of clients in seismic areas, as well as approval for concrete screws used in redundant non-structural systems (ETA – 21/0177).
